Abstract: This workshop will present recent advances in the AXELIOS 1 platform, powered by sequencing by expansion (SBX) technology, and highlight new methods recently demonstrated on the platform. Eric Chow, Director of the Center for Advanced Technology (CAT) at UCSF will share experiences with AXELIOS 1 and how the fundamentally different technology can be leveraged by core facilities to provide sequencing in a more streamlined and efficient manner and unlock new applications due to its combination of longer reads and higher throughput.

AXELIOS 1 is still in development and not currently available.

The AXELIOS 1 sequencing platform and sequencing by expansion (SBX) technology are in development and not commercially available. The content of this material reflects current study results and/or design goals. The AXELIOS 1 sequencing platform based on SBX technology will be launched for Research Use Only.
