Abstract:   
NGS library preparation employing enzymatic fragmentation is favored for the sample preservation, scalability, and workflow efficiencies that the method affords; however, these benefits often come at the cost of data quality. Read mapping errors resulting from the introduction of sequencing artifacts and inhibited fragmentation jeopardize data accuracy, coverage, and uniformity. While mechanical shearing is favored for its data quality, this method is complex, challenging to scale, and leads to greater sample loss. This presentation will introduce KAPA EvoPlus Kits, a novel enzymatic fragmentation library preparation method that delivers unparalleled convenience with performance that rivals gold-standard mechanical methods.
